Just last week, on the 19th of September the iPhone 6 went on sale around the world. It is no exaggeration when i say there was colossal queues everywhere, it was a queue of over 1,000 people. Fans even camped overnight to be one of the first to get their hands on the new gadget. And oh no, the thunderous rain was not going to stop them either.
Early reports suggest demand is particularly high for the larger of Apple's two new devices, the iPhone 6 Plus, seen as the company's first foray into the "phablet"market.
The two men at the front of the queue in Covent Garden were interviewed and one of them said
"We're excited about the Plus' big screen," they said. "We're hoping to get the gold one, last time we missed it."
We all know that one of the biggest features is that the iPhone 6 is very thin, but now it's being reported as potentially 'too thin'. That’s what some upset users are saying after they turned their iPhones into bananaphones.
Is the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus Prone To Bending?
Experts are divided over whether Apple should respond to claims that its new iPhone 6 handsets are prone to becoming bent when carried in trouser pockets. We all know that one of the biggest features is that the iPhone 6 is very thin, but now it's being reported as potentially 'too thin'. If you asked a scientist they'd say that iPhones are definitely not immune to physics, as it's made of aluminum, this is a soft and thin. And the fact the phone itself is soft and thin, it's most definitely going to change shape if you apply pressure to it. Apparently even Siri herself says "The iPhone 6 bends like a banana" But you must bare in mind that this isn't a little bit of pressure, you'd have to apply a whole lot of pressure to bend it properly and it's not the only phone that would be able to do this either.
Fans are calling the whole scandal #BendGate
Should You Upgrade if You Already Have The 5s?
The iPhone 6 is quite a departure in some core ways, but it’s also pretty conservative in others. Apple has not significantly improved the camera hardware, and while the screen has gotten bigger, display quality is unlikely to improve all that much. There isn't an objective reason, at this stage, to upgrade from an iPhone 5S. Perhaps the trickier question is whether you should upgrade to the iPhone 6 Plus instead?http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/apple/iphone/11106696/Fans-queue-outside-Apples-London-stores-for-new-iPhone-6.html
