Keep The 'Local' in Local Locksmiths Today

If you work as a locksmith such as any Brighton locksmiths, it is becoming progressively common to meet customers who have been ripped off or left hopeless with the work, some even fearing that they may have divulged security information to untrustworthy people. Victims of the money grabbing national call centre operations that charge absurd hidden fees and charge for needless work.

So Why Is This Happening to So Many Of Us?

Great national locksmith chains spend masses of pounds each year on advertising. They buy up multiple pages of adverts in magazine or newspaper directories using different company names and redirect phone numbers to appear local and dupe the customers into believing they are dealing with a honest local locksmith. This massive outflow is passed directly onto the customers who would be

lucky to ever pay less than £100 for the simplest of jobs and anywhere up to £500 which is ludicrous.

More frequently than not the 'locksmith' or ‘engineer’, will be dispatched from their nearest point, which could be considerably far away. The customer is always comforted they will be no more than 30 mins away, but this is hardly the case and I have met customers that were left stranded for hours before eventually trying to cancel. At this point they have usually previously taken note of your card details and will bill you for their call out anyway despite failing to show.

Why Don’t People Get a Genuine Locksmith like any Brighton Locksmiths?

Customers need to be educated on the best ways to dodge these national scammers to ensure we do
